Video Games!

This is a continuation to the Taking A Break post I had recently. Here it is! Alore Party Cuisines's Video Games Theme Menu. Ever wonder how all these food you see in the game taste like? Here is your chance for you to have a taste! This menu consist of some of the food you see often in your favorite video games and inspired from video games. Since I found out about Video Games Live happening this year, I started researching on food related and inspired by games. It is so cool to actually feast on something that's unreal! Well in this case, brought it to the reality, and it taste awesome! I have families and friends who are really fussy eaters and they are my guinea pigs to try out all the recipes and which is best.

After about a month of research, testing recipes, feeding people, and the finalize menu is here! I'm super excited with this because I don't think it has been done here before and here is your chance to try it out! Let's start with Sonic Chili Dogs!

Sonic Chili Dogs - RM 6.99 (Add cheese + RM 0.50)

Sonic has always had an obsession with Chili Dogs. It appears in almost every game and cartoons of Sonic. Tails loves it topped with cheese (Hence the option) while Sonic so called girlfriend, Amy Rose, enjoys the Tofu Dogs. Lets just ignore the Tofu Dogs and enjoy this beef mince chili dogs. Spicy enough to get you running as fast as Sonic would for it!

Next up is Koopasta.

Koopasta - RM 5.99

Koopasta is an item found in Super Paper Mario. It helps recover seven HP (Heart Points) and FP (Flower Points). It is made from Koopa Leaf with Dried Pasta or Turtley Leaf with Fresh Pasta, hence becomes Koopasta in Super Paper Mario : The Thousand-Year Door (Taken from Mario Wiki) In this case, this dried spinach pasta is tossed in basil pesto. Totally vegetarian but not for those who are allergic to nuts and dairy.

Another one of my favourite, BBQ Buzzard Wings.

BBQ Buzzard Wings - RM 5.99 - 2 pairs (Drummet & Wing)

Buzzards are hostile Level 37 - 39 carrion birds found in the Badlands. Buzzards are scavengers along savannahs and other arid environments. They flap towards their prey and strike with their beaks. Very common throughout Azeroth's plains. (Taken from World Of Warcraft Wiki) Not that hard to hunt (in my case :P) to prepare these delicious wings tossed in BBQ sauce, will get you licking your fingers and wanting more!

Remember this iconic game during the 80s popular culture?

Pacman Cheddar Puffs - RM 3.50 - 5 pieces (Served with Salsa Sauce)

Pacman!!! WOKA WOKA WOKA!!! Well he pretty much eating all the dots, Inky, Blinky, Pinky, Clyde, cherries and bananas. This iconic game of the 80s had me glued to Micro Genius console just trying to complete the levels. Tried playing it on my phone but it was really weird, still needs the controller whatever it is! Giving a chance to Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde for revenge, you get to eat Pacman! These Pacman Cheddar Puffs goes oh so well with the home made Salsa Sauce. It's not nom nom nom here, its woka woka woka!

And now for some sweet treats for the sweet tooth!

Poffins - RM 3.99 (3 pieces)

Started noticing Pokemon when I saw how adorable Pickachu is. Yellow furball and such a cute voice. Here's your treat! You don't need a poffin case, you don't need a berry, you don't even need to travel to Hearthome City to the Poffin House to make these! These are coming to you!. With just the right amount of sweetness, these bun will get you and your Pokefriends all hyped up on sugar! :)

The Cake Is A Lie - RM 19.99

The cake is a lie! The cake is a lie! Here, the cake, is not, a lie. The cake became famous and is widely used in Internet Meme. 4 inch wide, 3 layered chocolate cake, layered and frosted with yummy chocolate ganache. This will definitely take away all your chocolate craving. Don't worry, no puzzles needed to solve to eat this cake, it is not a lie :P

Sea Salt Ice Cream - RM 2.80

Found in Twilight Town and Radiant Garden, appears throughout Kingdom Hearts universe but made it's first appearance in Kingdom Hearts II. Tetsuya Nomura said that the idea to put the dessert in the game came to him when he was thinking about what the kids in Twilight Town do and eat over summer vacation (Taken from Kingdom Hearts Wikia) It gives a happy taste to most of my friends who has tried this, a mixture of sweet and salty plus creamy. Due to the fact that this ice cream melts at a fast rate, it can't be presented as what you see in the game but in a container to make it easier to eat. But seriously, I can't believe how good it taste when I made this!

More sweet treats!

Minty Minerals - RM 1.99 (Complimentary for purchase of RM 20 and above of Video Games Theme Menu)

Minerals, a form of crystal resources in Starcraft. Extracting minerals takes time and the specialized equipment or anatomy found on SCVs, probes and drones. However, terrans have also developed automated extraction processes to harvest minerals found as ore veins in mountains, using mineral strippers to tear the crystals out of the ground. (Taken from Starcraft Wikia) These minerals are made minty for your consumption, it'll keep fresh all the time!

For you to share the fun of Video Games!

Mushroom Montage - RM 160 (184 mini vanilla cupcakes)

The famous Mushroom from Super Mario. It helps restore health points to players and of course gives you super power! Get this and share it with all your friends, who wouldn't want to eat up this adorable little mushroom? :)

And lastly another famous character known worldwide.

Mario Montage
Head - RM 55 (59 mini vanilla cupcakes)

The all famous Mario, depicted as a short, pudgy, Italian-American plumber who lives in the Mushroom Kingdom.
